The vacancy date is May 1, 2026, and the pay scale is ₹1,80,000–3,40,000 (IDA).

What the Director (Operations) Will Do
The Director (Operations) is a full-time functional Board member, reporting directly to the Chairman & Managing Director. The role covers a wide remit — Production Divisions, Corporate Planning, Joint Ventures, Offsets, Modernisation, Indigenisation, Business Development & Marketing, Quality Assurance, Customer Services, IT, Outsourcing, Risk Management, and Flight Testing.
In practical terms, the person in this role drives HAL’s entire production and operational engine — from ensuring timely delivery of fighter aircraft, helicopters, and aero engines to managing relationships with collaborators, vendors, and government bodies.
